lakers dont have to aim that high, a westen conf championship would do, given that their line up is kind of fragile atm. they dont want to absorb that much damage going to the playoffs ( if ever they get in)

If the Lakers make the playoffs as expected, they might be a bit worn out and beaten up to go far. Like a lot of the top teams, I don't think they will be able to rest their starters in the weeks preceeding the playoffs.
