      • The ****ed up thing is Marquez who completely sucks at being offensive proved without a shadow of a doubt that you can have success against Mayweather by attacking. Just like Paulie Malignaggi says...Mayweather's style is prone to locking up so well you can catch him sleeping.

Marquez landed 12% of his punches...

He was forced to attack the runner Pacquiao in the entire 8th round of their fight. He landed around 50% of his punches in that round as well.

Pacquiao was not able to reach Marquez with his jab or his left, so he was easily countered and punished.

Mayweather will be able to counter Pacquiao even more effectively since he's a superior counter-puncher, and due to his superior reflexes and reach advantage he will never be within the range of any of Pacquiao's punches.

Marquez out-landed Pacquiao in both fights, but was only able to land 12% of his punches against Mayweather.
I guess you don't know what counter punching is. (sorry not trying to be mean)

Marquez in that clip is leading the battle with the jab. (that is not counter punching)

In the second clip Manny is leading the attack. (This was counter punching)

So you're saying he only landed 50% of his punches against a guy who was literally blind in 1 eye by a cut caused by "counterpunching".

Speaks volumes about how bad Marquez's offense is.

And yet he was able to land 12% of his total punches and a slightly better power punching percentage against a perfectly fit Mayweather when Marquez literally has no clue how to press an attack.

lol I was about to ask TS what the **** was he talkin about...

But not only that, Marquez also didn't move like he was in quick sand at 130. Dude just put on too much weight. At 130 Marquez had a quick ass left hook to the body that he'd use to set his right hand and jab up with. In the Floyd fight, he couldn't get his hands out fast enough to pull that **** off.

But again, to the new and/or dumb boxing fans, when they look at Marquez/Paq and Marquez/Fraud, they don't have a ****in clue what they're looking at lol. But to the credit of a few posters on here, they accurately saw the weight gain for Marquez playing against him.

There is a reason why Pacquiao has selected certain types of fighters.

Im glad someone saw what I saw along time ago. I made a similar post a few weeks back about this very same thing. During the Marquez fight, Juan extended his distance and with Pac's aggressive style, Manny started to lunge in. People clown Hatton for not moving his head but Pac's habit of lunging in when he is outta range is worse.

Floyd is the best in the business as far as staying outta range and it showed during the Marquez fight. I said it then, that manny has no chance against Floyd, due to his bad habits and not having the reach. I will say this though, the only thing manny needs to do is use his footwork and improve headmovement and he will do fine. If he is on that lunging in **** then he will lose 12 rounds to 0 and possibly get knock out against Floyd.
