  • Will Pac's recent PPV make Bob put on stronger undercards?

Think he'll start making stronger undercards on Pac's PPV's now?

Nah, 500k plus, without having to spend on an under card >> 1 mil, and having to spend on the under card.

Not Bob, HBO. HBO can't allow those types of putrid undercards.

It's hard to gauge how much of an effect the undercard has on PPV sells, I mean most casuals only care about the main event bout. I've been to fight parties where the PPV had good and significant undercard bouts but people didn't give a crap and kept asking when De La Hoya/Mayweather/Pacquiao were gonna fight.

It has an effect. Boxing has a dedicated fan base that isn't stupid. Those casuals aren't the same ones tuning into HBO and Showtime to watch the Golovkins of the world.

If they put Alvarado-Provodnigod on the Bradley-Marquez undercard that PPV would of done better. Same goes if that fight was on the Pac-Rios undercard.

Nobody is buying PPVs for the undercard. If the main event is big enough, with worthy names, it will sell regardless of the undercard.

So you're telling me Abner Mares, Leo Santa Cruz, Canelo and Danny Garcia had no affect whatsoever?
