our military might be stronger than china, but they've got a hell of a lot more influence on the rest of the world than america does today. unfortunately it was in our lifetimes that the chinese passed the americans. they're the most "powerful" country in the world now.

their economy is massive and growing. they build many of the things that the rest of the world needs.

At the same time, some of their economy is a smoke screen and fudged numbers. Their ghost cities come to mind.

As far as military, we definitely hold the edge there. They have the numbers as far as men go, but everything else pertaining to weapons, technology and such is the advantage to us.

Drones are nice and everything, but you can't really take on an army with drones. Their more so for surveillance and low key bombing raids. Think about it. What is the mass of explosives that all of those 7500 drones combined can carry? Combined, is it even as much as say a b-52 bomber?
