At what age could you gentlemen grow a full beard?

About 16 I could grow something classed as a beard. It took 'til I was into my 20s for it to be thick as it is now.

Been growing my beard because I am afraid of being decapitated by muslim extremists. I also carry a mini Koran just in case I am ever kidnapped by Muslim freaks and weirdo's!! Allah Akbar.
