I found a cheaper, healthier alternative to nutrition bars(ie Qu3st bars, Pr0max, etc..). Yes, you read the thread title correctly, baby food in a jar, as in br@nds like G3rber.
I got this idea from a friend a long time ago. He was a fitness model. I recently compared the nutrition label on a G*rber baby food(chicken noodle) and a Qu3st bar. The main differences are,
1) the nutrition bars have more protein(you can always have yourself a scoop of whey protein to make up for the amount missing from the baby food)
2) nutrition bars have a higher fat content
3) nutrition bars have way more sugar content
4) nutrition bars are way more expensive
5) nutrition bars are highly processed, whereas baby food in a jar are minimally processed.
In the end, baby jar is much healthier option for about the same calorie content.
