  • The Brits have taken the sport of boxing by storm!

The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is currently a Brit.
There are soo many major British world champions and high ranking contenders in every division that they seem to be taking over the entire sport, with momentum!

British boxing is flying possibly the highest its ever flown in its history. There are many many fighters in Britain that can sell out a 20,000 seat arena with ease, the sport is literally flying at the minute.

Pretty sure. They are a lot more than Rickee 'atton now!

DeGale is so beatable, but he's arguable the FOTY in 2015. (Froch drowns him in nine though)
"The Gawd" Fury is the King.
Got a champ at the hardest division in 147.
    Lower weights are :blow:

    Gratz, you bunch of pssies.

Yes it's true, while all eyes have been on the Slavic and German nations for a long time now, the quality of the British boxers has not gone unnoticed, Lewis, Haye, Joshua, Fury and many more and that's just HW!

I take great solace in the fact that an honourable country like Britain has the crown and not the treacherous Muricans LOL

      Long live the Queen! LOL

No he isn't. There hasn't been an undisputed hw champion for 15 years.

He hold every single belt(soup, ring, lineal) except Deontes single soup belt. Undisputed is an appropriate term for complete dominance, all roads lead to Fury at heavyweight now

A white briton too, it's a very important but not racial side note, I am stating it because I don't remember the last non-immigrant british HW champion!

He has also a charisma and character, which is very rare among white boxers.

            Fury is unique indeed.

At the start of this very talented generation too. I can see some wars at HW between Brit fighters.

                  Its been a great year.

Although Fury is our only lineal champ, Ive been impressed with the calibur of win that has lead to Brit fighters collecting their alphabet straps.

Lots of them went away and fought in their opponents hometown against decent opponents and came away with the W. Even the guys who fought at home like Crolla beat respectable opponents.

                  Degale beat Dirrell in US
                  Brook beat Porter in US
McDonnell beat Kameda x2 in US (not hometown, but home promotion)
                  Fury beat Klit in Germany
                  Crolla beat Perez
Flanagan beat Magdeleno (ok not when he actually won the title, but his title win was an injury stoppage and this was his first defence)
                  Selby beat Gradovic
                  Frampton beat Martinez

                  Thats a great list.

An appropriate term? Maybe in your mind but not in the boxing world. He needs to get that belt of wilder to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.
