[PLEASE HELP] Why do Americans Think They Are The Best At Everything?

Just wondering here as to why? They got owned at golf recently and are crying like babies. They only came into the second world war after the Japs smashed them to bits at Pearl Harbor. The Russians, the Brits and the other European Countries won that war. Anyone enlighten me?
