Yea the way I see it is how many wins fighters have against great fighters in their prime a fighter has and I think Mosley is up there.

Mosley: De la hoya and Margarito
        Trinidad: De la Hoya
        Jones: Toney and Hopkins
Pacquiao: Barrera I, Marquez, Morales ( tenuous )
Hopkins: Trinidad, De La hoya, Tarver, Winky, Pavlik

I guess Mosley has big losses so it hurts him but he is certainly up there

yes, but somewhere in the bottom half

Where does he rank in his generation? Which fighters of his generation do you rank above him?
behind the very best: floyd, pac, hopkins, rjj, tito

How much do his losses to Vernon and Winky detract from his resume despite the fact he has many very good and great wins?
depends on if you look at the cup half full or half empty: the fact that mosley didn't win the rematches.

                  Well he beat Oscar.

And I don't know if you were following the sport then but Vargas was a pretty big win. Actually, nearly every fight from Oscar going was a big win for a period of time.

the ATG discussion is always tough in terms of exact placement unless you keep a mental list or some ****. I do think he qualifies to be in there tho. He should be 1-1 against DLH imo, and overall DLH did accomplish more, so I'd put DLH over him. He's done more overall than Forrest and Winky imo, but both beat him twice. Felix lost bad, but late in his run and 2 of em were after long layoffs. I think he's up on SSM also.

Lol, he may have been given the decision but not because he "beat" Oscar. Oscar gave the fight away. I still remember the look on Tito's face when the decision was announced. He was more than surprised. He knew he got a gift. Despite that decision the public definitely knew who the better fighter was.
