Depends on where they fight. Anywhere that does not involve a castle, Drogo and the Dothraki by massacre.

I think Westerosi knights would have a huge advantage vs Dothraki who are lightly armoured less advanced and more than likely less disciplined. Plus I don't doubt that Ned is a much greater tactition and much better at organizing his army.

he's more of a good leader and commander

Robert was a melee beast and a savage. Better match would be he and Drogo.
