    imo, tarkovsky is more interesting than kubrick

    Kurosawa and Miyazaki (Japan)

    Just to name a few.

      Guillermo Del Toro is my favorite. El Espinazo Del Diablo, El Laberinto Del Fauno, Cronos, Hellboy, Hellboy 2, Pacific Rim...the man is a genius.

        Indeed, really hoping he gets a chance to adapt Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness, that would be pure awesomeness.

        Pan's Labyrinth is easily in my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

          He's been ready to go, just waiting on a green light from the studios on At The Mountains Of Madness. The more success he has with other projects the more likely we'll end up seeing it one day. I'm looking forward to The Strain television series on FX in July.

            I actually prefer Solaris to 2001. Both great movies though.

            Melville, Jacques Tati, Fellini, etc. I'm also a big fan of Takeshi Kitano.

                    Theres a guy who made a film about Che Guevara from argentina , thats a great movie to watch if you havent seen it.
