well compared to the V's no.

but i think they are around 12 ounces and the V's are like 10

so yeah they are fairly light.

but the sides of the shoe are really tough and dont give and the heelcup locks your foot in place.

you never have to worry about rolling your ankle or coming off the foot bed if your doing some cuts

Purple and Yellow sneakers? Wtf. My sneakers are normal colors like black, white, white/red, white/blue, gray. Purple and Yellow is not my type of color, that **** is too fruity. I agree with Piggy, those are basically clown shoes. If you wanna look like a clown in NYC then wear those sneakers.
