  • So gang, what do we think about these 'sequester' cuts the media is hyping up?

    what's the consensus?

Supposedly these are draconian austerity cuts a.k.a miniscule cuts that aren't even real cuts but simply slow the increase in growth.

We need real meat clever draconian cuts. If Paul Ryan's medicare plan (which was only gonna slow the rate of growth over the next decade and not a real) is throwing granny off the cliff, then we need to find a bigger cliff and throw granny off Mount Everest to solve the problem. If we're using that analogy.

The USA needs a Margaret Thatcher type to give us the tough medicine we need.

I think both the Democratic and Republican leaders are a bunch of faggots, and need to be strung up by their collective balls and vaginas from a overpass, and shot with paintball guns.

        Put it on PPV.

There is my gift to capitalism.

        You're welcome.

You should start by giving your tax refund back to the Treasury.

You mean the cuts that the White House threatened legendary journalist Bob Woodward over because he pointed out that they were Obama's idea?

              http://www.businessinsider.com/bob-w...olitics-2013-2

The cuts that are miniscule compared to this bloated federal budget? (Well this administration hasn't actually passed a budget in almost 4 years, but still manages to burn through almost 4 trillion annually, putting our credit rating and privilege of being the world's main reserve currency in jeopardy.)

I think they are heavily weighted towards defense, but we have to start cutting somewhere and no one seems to want to address the main driver of our 16.6 trillion dollar debt, entitlements. So bring them on.
