    Every day or so im going to post up a bangarang recipe, feel free to try out the recipie and post up some pics of what you made.

    so in honor of pi day next week im going to start things off with a few pi related recipies, and what better way to start then with the crust.

    Pi Crust

    1 1/2 cup flour
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 stick of salted butter
    3-5 table spoons ice water

    ok so you cut the butter into 1/2 inch or less chunks.

    then mix the flour sugar and butter together in a bowl with a pastry blender.

    thats one of these:


    once everything is well mixed add 3 tablespoons of ice water and mix it in well with the pastry blender.

    if the dough still seems alittle dry add another 1-2 table spoons of ice water.

    once the dough is done, ball it up, roll it out, and make some bangarang pis. you can use this dough equally well for chicken pot pis as you can apple pis.

    personally i like to roll the dough out brush on some butter and put on a good helping of a mix of 4 parts sugar 1 part cinamon and 1 part coco. then i fold the dough inhalf and bake it for 15-20 mins at 425 to make an awesome giant cinnomon chocolate poptart.
