I always had HBO, and never got the urge to get Showtime.

You sound like Floyd now. A total loudmouth ******. A grade A hypocrit. First off, you say Shobox isn't a hype show, then you admit they're all about mismatches, which they are. Strike one for you. A total, floundering flip flop. It was only the very first discussion we had.

No, in my opinion HBO is more of a hype show, yes I stated that (you were just upset that TMT has had 3 fight cards since the beginning of 2013). I never admitted anyone was about mismatches, I stated that rising fighters (most to all, HBO just does not show many rising fighters) are pitted against fighters they are supposed to beat. Dont try and put words in peoples mouths dude, its obvious you are just like the rest and do not take things in the context that it is spoken. I admitted it was all about mismatches, LOL. Yeah sure dude. Good try, but come better next time. Now try and rebute that.

I remember seeing Jose Pedraza against the best cab driver I have ever seen in Gil Garcia. I remember seeing Jessie Vargas fight the fight that Lanardo Tyner wanted to fight but showed some toughness and grit to pull out the ugly but entertaing clash. Seeing Billy Lyell give Jonathan Gonzalez a go for his money. Seeing Tommy Oosthuizen and Marcus Johnson in a nice fight. Del Valle and Chris Martin that same night. I have seen far more no names on Shtime than HBO. And with HBO they shove fighters down your throat, like the guy from China, and the dude Salido just fought. I know they were great Olympians, but still.

I stated all this and named all these fighters, yet you were upset that TMT had 3 cards. Its like thats all you see, and avoid seeing all the other up and coming fighters. Guess you missed Antoine Douglas on showtime 3 times, but let me guess he not getting hyped since he not associated with Floyd. You need to watch him.

#4 and proud baby. boxing is a sport of the working class, and for some that means putting family before the sport I love, so f#kk you saying poverty means you don't deserve it. No offense BTW...but I give what I can and take when I can't to this sport.

Quite aside from which a Boxnation subscription for £10 in the UK kinda makes your question irrelevent for UK and EU posters- we already get a good selection of top fights anyway. Also I'm in no way ashamed of streaming any other fights (since I have to stream anyway for many of the global fights which are only found on minor international channels) - given my financial situation and inability to contribute more than I already do to my favourite sport.

Personally with reference to the OQ, more of the fights I want to see tend to be on HBO mainly cos I've got more interest in the higher (160+) weight divisions where SHO are weaker, but if I prefered the 140-154 weights where SHO has more depth I'm sur that'd be my choice.

IMO SHO have chosen to focus on and specialise in a relatively small selection of weight divisions. and it's a model which has had considerable success, though IMO at the expense of the wider sport. TBH it's a matter of opinion, SHO do what they do well, but it's not for everyone.
