  • [HOLY S**T!] Watched Pirates of the Caribbean on a Plasma TV and was blown away.

Man that looked beautiful. Looked like the water was coming out the screen.

What movies are good to watch on a Plasma TV.

almost all new movies on blu-ray look sick (obviously older blu ray movies look good but not as good, for example "the perfect storm")

avatar must look awesome. hurt locker looked real good, particularly the exploding scenes when time slows down and you see dirt/debris all over the place

Sport/films/wildlife etc all look amazing on my plasma - with just an antenna connection!

          Very good TVs.

I didn't bother. I just bought a HD DVD player.

Honestly, I doubt any difference could be seen with the naked eye.

the quality may be similiar, but the standard isnt. HD-DVD lost the war to blu ray. Do you see any new movies these days in HD-DVD?
