If the academy didn't think DiCaprio deserved to take home the Oscar for 'Blood Diamond', 'The Aviator', or 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' then there's no way in hell he deserves it for a crummy Tarantino B movie.

Hell, he didn't even get nominated for his tour de force in 'The Departed'. Talk about a crime.

Joaquin Phoenix should win for The Master, but DDL is definitely a great actor.

Yup. Phoenix had hands down the best performance of the year. DDL is always unbelievable but this year I felt Phoenix had the meatier role and delivered.

he was so into character that he chose confine himself in wheelchair for months & literally be carried around the set during filming

his picture should be the poster face for word method acting
