only really going to ko someone with this so called MOVE if you have knockout power. Dempsey had absolute Knockout power in both hands with or without using his strong legs he had monster arm and back strength.

The dempsey roll requires that you are adept at what were known as the "Dempsey Triples", three punch combinations he would throw while bobbing and weaving. To begin with, you have to know how to slip a left lead, and you have to understand how your weight shifting from foot to foot affects your punches. Let's take a look at the first "triple."
This one begins with the opponent leading a left jab; you slip outside, hooking the left to the belly. That is pretty simple; the slip and the hook are the same move. Then you slide your left foot to the left, to drop your body low so you can weave back under his left, hooking the right to the heart. When your weight is back over the left foot, you straighten up, shift the weight back to your right foot (hope you remembered to bring it along) as you throw a left uppercut or hook to the chin.
The second begins, again, with the opponent's left lead. This time you slip to the inside, throwing a straight right to the heart. Slide your right foot to the right so you can weave under his left, hooking to the body as you go. When your weight carries over to your right leg, you'll be outside his left arm and in position to throw the right hook back over his left shoulder.
Those are the "Dempsey Triples", using the "Dempsey Roll." Learn your balance and they are really easy. Otherwise, you can strengthen your legs, lift weights, whatever else, and it won't do you any good.
