  • Lol @ "Angulo Punched Himself Out". He's A Pressure Fighter!!!

Angulo is a pressure fighter. This means he throws lots of punches in his fights.

How the heck can a so called pressure fighter punch himself out??

Kirkland's uppercuts and left hooks are what slowed Angulo down and backed him up, not Angulo's stamina. Angulo was going in for the kill, not realizing that he only landed a flash knockdown. Kirkland landed huge shots while his back was against the ropes in the 1st round. That's what hurt and backed Angulo up, not Angulo punching himself out.

Not to even mention the fact that Kirkland was whooping Angulo's ass before the flash knockdown.

LMAO @ Angulo punched himself out.

a pressure fighter isn't necessarily a volume puncher

Angulo did not train for that fight, it did seem like he punched himself out IMO. But the last time I saw a fighter last that long after being done was Lopez Salido. Angulo seemed exhausted after he threw that flurry until he was finally stopped.

Kirkland would have won anyway imo, but truth is, Angulo did shoot his load during that 1st rnd.

No way. Had Angulo fought more measured Kirkland would not have survived. But, its an IF.

I want to see a rematch.

Angulo didn't start slowing down until Kirkland landed that HUGE left uppercut. You can even hear Max say "EWW good uppercut by Kirkland". Ever since that uppercut was landed, Angulo was in survival mode thereafter.

                Those are facts.

                  Anyone can punch themselves out.

Do yourself a favor and research some terms like, VO2 Max and muscle fatigue.

He was physically exhausted. Twas obvious. Of course you have to blame Angulo for that. Which is why I'd like to see a rematch.
