June 30th Card in Washington DC is Scrapped

Unfortunately for all my DC fight fans, the June 30th card with Gary Russell Jr was scrapped. Golden Boy states the reason is "ongoing issues with the DC athletic commission".

We all known what that relates too.

Instead its going to be a card in Cali televised on Showtime with:

K9 vs Spinks
Bika vs Davis
Russell Jr. Vs TBA

It's been so long since DC had a high profile fight. Then we finally got Khan vs PEDerson and you got refs taking points, mystery men playing with scorecards, controversial decision, and now the issue with drug testing.

That's probably the last high profile fight DC will see in a long ass time. Lol

That sucks. The Khan fight had an awesome atmosphere. I was really looking forward to seeing this card live.
