There is absolutely no reason why this fight shouldn't taken place, and nobody can dispute the fact that Karass has truly earned a shot at Mayweather. Would be nice to see Mayweather actually fight a real Mexican who isn't a complete and utter fetus like Floyd's next opponent.




Just watch Floyd duck this fight and later on in the year we'll have an article posted on this site titled: 'Mayweather vs Figueroa: The Experts Give Their Take' with the ghost of Manny Steward predicting it to be a "close, pick em' sort of fight" and Roberto Duran waxing fantastic about the time he moved up in weight and quit against Pat Lawlor.

oh please, most of us accepted a long time ago that berto was pretty much crap. thats what made this fight interesting. many ppl picked karass to win. i still dont rate karass highly tho. hes not that good.

Berto was a solid favorite, like 4-1. Karass is not that good, neither is most of the talent on that card, but they gave us a spectacular show so big props are due. Even all the losers deserve much props for the effort, Berto included, The nly reason there's gloating is cause he was protected and making more money in 1 fight vs Freddy Hernandez than most contenders make in their career
