About the only modern TV I watch is Orange is the New Black.

I tend to avoid Fat Yankistanian TV these days because there's so much of it, and if I enjoy it, I'll want to watch it all. With UK series, they sometimes only last six episodes, so you can watch it in an afternoon even if it's ****. But with these longer US shows it's more of a time investment that I could spend doing other more important things.

You ever see Modern Family Annie?

I've seen about a dozen episodes, and what I saw I thought was very good, even if it did veer a little towards "moral of the week" at the end of each episode. Obviously Al Bundy is always value.

But that's a classic example of what I mean... the show started in 2009 and there's already 164 episodes. That's a ****load of telly.

One of the very few modern shows I watch is the Green Teef series (and they DO have stereotypical "British" teeth in it) Peep Show. Started in 2003, had sporadic, 6 or 7 episode seasons and then ended with 54 episodes in the bank. Even if Modern Family was a much better show (I don't believe it is, but that's besides the point) it's a lot more time investment.
