It's the liberal media and mindset. It's so pervasive that young kids now believe that they are ENTITLED to a free education, a high-paying job, a nice car and no responsibilities. They feel that everyone should be on a level playing field no matter if one person works harder, studies more and has a better skillset to perform a certain job or task. These are the same people that feel everyone should get a trophy, the same trophy even if they lost every game or didn't even bother to show up to the game at all.

It's like how the hell do you think all of these universities are going to keep the lights on, keep qualified PHD's on the payroll, have sports programs, offer
health services to students, maintain the grounds, repair the buildings, provide security to the students if it's all "free"? Everyone wants that handout.

There are many "liberal ideas" that i don't necessary agree with, but I think everyone who has the willingness and the talent at certain fields should have access to affordable higher education at the very least.

If making billionaires pay their fair share of taxes instead of incorporating their companies in the Cayman Islands for lower taxes to fund these programs is a "socialist hand-out", then I'm all for it.

My degree is in criminology and I currently have two jobs, one of which is my own business. The reason why people want Bernie is because he is not corporate owned like most of the other candidates. He understands that cutting taxes for the wealthy and the major corporations does NOT stimulate economic growth but in fact does the opposite. Any time this happens our economy tanks.

Its not about "free stuff" but rather ending or at least putting a dent in crony capitalism, which is the real problem in our country.

They think their taxes are so high because of the "lazy freeloaders who wants them thar free stuffs" (which we all know is code for minorities, even though there are more whites on welfare and foodstamps). Its because the major corporations don't even pay federal taxes. In fact, there are so many loopholes that many of them get money back from the government. They don't "create jobs" with the money they save in taxes, they just keep it for themselves.

Problem with Bernie is I don't think just raising the taxes that much will pay for free college, and healthcare. I totally agree about single payer healthcare, but then free college thing sounds near impossible.

Plus, if you are lower middle class, and you pay around 20-22% on taxes right now for federal and state combined, do you really want to pay like 30-32% instead??? And have 10 more % taken??? I don't

I totally agree with Bernie that people who makes 250K or more, and make into the millions at times, they should pay an absurd amount of taxes. They have more than enough money to do so, and a lot of them don't necessarily work any harder than loads of middle class or lower middle class workers.

But the problem is he's not just going to raise taxes on the ultra rich, he's going to raise taxes on the middle and lower middle class too. If you make say 1200 a paycheck every two weeks, you probably take home anywhere from 930-950 of that, not even counting your healthcare may cost around 50-60 bucks a paycheck if you get paid every two weeks. Well what's better for you.....paying 50-60 bucks of that for healthcare, or paying an extra 10% on taxes, basically an extra 120 dollars for healthcare.

I don't know. I'm with Bernie on his ideas, but I don't think it's possible without ****ing some middle and lower middle class people too.
