I had to research all of those numbers myself. The HBO numbers were reported today by Dan Rafael

HBO’s flagship boxing series, “World Championship Boxing,” was up 10 percent for the year as it averaged 1.3 million viewers per card, all of which were also on Saturday nights.

Isn't it common sense that more people have NBC (network television). Than HBO (pay to watch). Thus giving NBC an advantage in # of audience.

Yes. But raw numbers are raw numbers. For example, Crawford's last fight did roughly a million viewers. Figueroa last fight did 1.8M. So 800,000k people more people know who Figueroa is than Crawford. You want your fighters to get maximum exposure. PBC's B level fighters are getting more exposure than HBO's A level fighters.

It is hard to compare NBC numbers to HBO numbers because NBC numbers are averages of the entire telecast while HBO reports averages for specific fights.

I have been compiling PBC rankings, here are the true averages for each PBC on NBC telecast (entire program, start to finish):
            NBC (daytime)
            5/23/2015 (main event Dirrell-Degale): 1.000M
            6/6/2015 (main event Guerrero-Martinez): 1.200M
            9/12/2015 (main event Quillin-Zerafa): 1.000M
            10/17/2015 (main event Peterson-Diaz): 1.100M
            11/28/2015 (main event Charlo-Campfort): N/A
            NBC (primetime)
            3/7/2015 (main event Thurman-Guerrero): 3.374M
            4/11/2015 (main event Garcia-Peterson): 2.882M
            6/20/2015 (main event Broner-Porter): 2.327M
            9/26/2015 (main event Wilder-Duhaupas): 2.179M
            12/12/2015 (main event Figueroa-DeMarco): 1.817M

I've never heard it broken down like this before you have an excellent point. You deserve a green cookie or whatever y'all call it. I can't believe Thurman Guerrero did 3million.

I forgot the Charlo-Campfort fight. I strictly went by Rafael's report on HBO fights.

It just means that on average 800k boxing fans can't afford HBO. It's easily $100 for a package that includes HBO where you can get a package with NBC and cbs for like $14 a month. You are comparing apples to oranges my friend
