In 2007, why did it make sense for him to fight the 140 pound Hatton at 147, instead of the 147 pound Mosley who called him out on ESPN?

He moved from 130 to 147 because he got thicker and bigger. He couldn't make those weights anymore as he filled out during his 20s.

Floyd couldn't even make the proposed catchweight of 145 for his fight with Marquez.

Floyd is about the same size as De La Hoya, as we saw in their fight.

But Oscar was never afraid to fight bigger men like the light heavyweight Bernard Hopkins.

Were you not watching boxing back 2007 or didn't you know that the fight against Hatton was the biggest one to be had at the time? Were you not watching boxing in 2005 when Hatton's team said they weren't ready to face Mayweather after he beat Gatti and they were at the top of the division?
