Did Floyd "retire" in 2007 because he was shook by the 147 division heating up?

Why did it make sense for Floyd to fight the little bantamweight Jesus Chavez (1-13)?

Why did it make sense for him in 2009 to fight the 135 pound champion Marquez instead of one of the other welterweights?

In 2007, why did it make sense for him to fight the 140 pound Hatton at 147, instead of the 147 pound Mosley who called him out on ESPN?

Because the reach-challenged Hatton was the easier fight.

Floyd couldn't even make the proposed catchweight of 145 for his fight with Marquez.

Floyd is about the same size as De La Hoya, as we saw in their fight.

But Oscar was never afraid to fight bigger men like the light heavyweight Bernard Hopkins.
Oh stop, you know full well Oscar is much larger than Mayweather. Mayweather just doesn't fight catchweight fights which is why the Marquez CW bout was called off.

So in you're opinion, not moving up from 130 to 140 immediately after winning the 130 title was a duck, correct?

Maybe you should ask Mosley why it made sense for him to go to the dentist in 2006 when Mayweather wanted to fight him?

Were you not watching boxing back 2007 or didn't you know that the fight against Hatton was the biggest one to be had at the time? Were you not watching boxing in 2005 when Hatton's team said they weren't ready to face Mayweather after he beat Gatti and they were at the top of the division? Ask Hatton why it made sense to face comedy champ, Carlos Maussa instead? I can understand having a gripe with certain fighters but at least be aware of what actually happened at the time, dude.

Less so in 1998 and 1999, more so in 2000, even more so in 2001 and very much so in 2002 and 2004-5.

Sam Langford was shorter and had less reach than Floyd, yet he fought anybody from welterweight to heavyweight.

Sugar Ray Robinson fought a top middleweight (Jake LaMotta) years before he even won his first welterweight world title!

But those men were fearless warriors, and Floyd is a pampered pussy.

            He's even scared of midgits!

Ok so you didn't mean 1998 and 1999? Got it.

So now that we got that out of the way let's move to 2000. You believe Mayweather should have moved up two divisions or he was ducking the 140lb. champ, correct?

Did Floyd fight get the 135 champ Marquez to fight him at 147?

Did Marquez move up two divisions?

                  10 pound difference between 130 and 140.
                  12 pound difference between 135 and 147.

16 pound difference between SRR and Lamotta.
25 pound difference between 160 and 175 when Greb moved up and fought Tunney.

Moving up ten pounds would have been nothing for REAL warriors like Langford, Greb, and Armstrong.

But I realize since Floyd is a pussy, he isn't expected to do so. He'll never go to 160 and fight Martinez...

Don't you get it? Mayweather should've moved up from 130lbs to 140lbs and challenged Tszyu for his title...... but at a 137lbs catchweight, of course. He would've been a legend and well respected by all if he did that.

Maybe he'll get some other lightweight to fight him at welterweight or light middleweight.
I thought it was a simple question. Let me repeat so we can get a little deeper into your "analysis":

In the year 2000, the same year he fought #5 pound for pounder Diego Corrales (rated way, way higher than anyone around Floyd, including Floyd himself) you believe Floyd ducked Kostya Tszyu, correct?
