it's a simple diversion of income to minimize income tax in a legal way. instead of putting the whole purse as the fighter's personal income, they diverted it to his promotional company which is subject to business taxation and therefore you can deduct all sorts of promotional and business expenses to arrive at net income or net loss which is the amount taxable. whereas with personal taxation, you can only deduct certain personal exemptions.

I don't think the rest went to Arum. Some went to Arum, some went to Roach, some went to Ariza.

It would be crazy though if Arum did get the rest of the $16Mill of the supposed $22mill. Even after paying Roach and Ariza their little percent, there's still a lot of money left. Bob Arum is The Ring's true P4P #1, and the actual second highest paid after Floyd. Pac just representing Arum, not the other way around.
