  • Khan's 4 Opponents At 147 Superior To Brook & Thurman's Career Opposition At 147?

Khan has only had 4 fights above the light welterweight limit but overall has he fought better opposition at the weight than both Brook and Thurman who have had 60 fights combined?

Khan's opponents above 140 are ALL former world champions: Julio Diaz, Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander, Chris Algieri

    Brook
notable opponent at 147: Shawn Porter

Thurman notable opponents at 147: Robert Guerrero, Julio Diaz + (arguably) Carlos Quitana, Diego Chaves.

    So there we have it.

Whatever makes you feel better man. Question though: Are you trying to convince us, or yourself?

Khan himself seems to rate Brook's opponents more than you do since he tried to fight them himself

Julio Diaz and Algieri are not good wins at 147, even Collazo is just a decent win.

Alexander already lost to Bradley and Porter.

LOL @ you listing Collazo as a good win.

                  He struggled against shot Diaz.

Algieri was coming off a loss to Pacquiao, where he got dropped 6 times.

Just no. Wish people would stop with this.

                    Khan:

Devon is obviously a damn good win especially the way Khan beat him.

Julio Diaz as a common opponent. Khan went life and death with this guy in a close decision win and Khan was put on his ass. Thurman disposed of Diaz in 3 rounds.

Collazo is a respectable win, but nothing to go crazy about.

Algieri had one fight at 147 and got pummled by Pac, Khan won a close decision.

                    Thurman:

Quintana we won't count because that was at 154.

Jan Zaveck, former welterweight champion and the fight was a wbo title eliminator and put him in line to fight Bradley. Thurman 120'd him across the board even though this is the only opponent that Thurman did'nt at least knock down.

Diego Chavez is probably Keiths toughest fight to date, was undefeated, and is a guy that is currently ranked in the top ten at welterweight. This is a guy that was winning against Rios before getting DQ'd and also gave Bradley all he could handle. This is also the fight that made Keith, Floyd's mandatory. Which is a few weeks short of two years ago. He got dealt with in 9 rounds.

Julio diaz I already dealt with.

Leonard Bundu was undefeated and the European champion. Keith gets **** for this fight for whatever reason, but people fail to mention the guy was ranked in the top ten in every major sanctioning body when they fought. Keith made easy work of him.

Robert Guerrero former 3 division champion which included a championship at welterweight. Keith dominated him.

Has Khan beat guys that are more recognizable than Keith? Probably

Has Khan beat the better competition? Hell no

We can also consider the way in which the two have been winning. Khan looked good against Collazo and Devon, but looked like **** against Chris and Diaz. Keith on the other hand has destroyed everyone he has faced.
