And to think...this was one of his worst cards. I remember when this was announced I was like, "damn, Don King fell off."

Those ppv cards were worth the money. You really wanted to see every fight even the ones that were not televised

At the time King was determined to put on super cards with the absence of Mike Tyson. I wasn't the biggest King fan but he really did just that.

I remember these as kid as all my dads friends came over to watch the fight on out 50" Big screen mitsubishi tv
King is probably a horrible person from all the stories I've heard but he was great for a boxing fan man did you get your moneys worth one if his cards would be divided into 4-5 ppv events by todays standards

That aside, those PPV with 3-6 quality fights on them were the mutts nuts
