    Not a big fan of the guy but at least he doesn't forget his roots. Even though Lower Merion is already a rich ass school 400k was the biggest donation in the schools history by one person.

    Good for him. I would've expected more considering how much he's made though. Charles Woodson donated 2 million to Michigan's hospital and he doesn't have close to Kobe's cash.

      Yeah it doesnt seem like alot compared to his paycheck but it is only a high school and a high income high school at that.

        He just now did this? Better late than never, I guess.

          Good gestures but when you make more than 20 million a year 400k is not a great sacrifice, especially when it is a total tax write off and it brings in alot of positive publicity.

          Not saying it is not a worthy cause though.
