a haka is a tribal dance. sometimes a war dance ritual they do before battle in the old days.

new zealand , tongan , samoan , etc. do hakas at the start of rugby games. it's tradition.

i just realised that there is a high school football team around me that ionno if they do this before every game but they have done it before, they happen to be the number 1 high school football team in the nation... coincidence... i think not.
