        I don't think so, its a matter of personal choice who you prefer to associate with.

        If I had a choice to live in Bel Air or Compton, I'd pick Bel Air.

                    It usually takes a while to know if someone really is a racist. I'm sure in the future both you guys will be talking and he'll let something slip. Then you will know.

                    Then again he may never say anything even close to racist for the rest of your life.

                    It sounds like you don't know him at all. So don't judge to quickly.
