That just tells me you don't know what you're talking about. Have you even seen him fight above 154 during his prime years? You should go see the Santos rematch. He was giving it to someone that outweigh him 10 pounds. You're just going by words of other idiots.

To retire at 33 and return at 38? Margarito must be feeling the sting of his divorce settlement. He doesn't look terribly different from this guy...

Margacheato has no room to talk......

I think Margacheato forgot how scared he looked when he fought Shane without his plaster of Paris. His confidence was totally gone. All his wins are tainted so he wouldn't be relevant without his plaster due to he took beatings without it.

If Canelo was "a decent sized MW" he would fight at MW don't you think?

Margarito walks out of a coffin and stops him, any weight, and glove size, anywhere.

he does fight at MW... hasnt' been at JMW since the mayweather fight at 152, where he looked like a legit dead man and had to sit on a chair at the weigh in. i'm willing to bet that he misses weight against liam smith.

when canelo walks into the ring he's 170+, very similar in size to most of the world class middleweights in the era of the 30 hour weigh in.

people cant go a day without bringing this guy up in unrelated subjects. Maragrito literally lost to every A level fighter he faced and couldnt even beat daniel santos yet Mayweather was afraid of ducking him? the hate is real for mayweather
yes he ducked him. what do you call turning down 7 million to fight sharmba for 4 and zab for 5? are those guys drawing fans the same way margarito brings the mexican fanbase(same fanbase mayweather went to over and over to get ppv buys but not this time) margarito was #1 for 3 years and yet you are pretending like he didn't matter just to defend floyd's ducking. very sad.

Walking into a ring rehydrated at a certain weight, and weighing the approriate weight on the last weigh in / agreeing to fight for a title at said weight, are very different things.

How often does he fight at MW? Seems every imporant fight is at 155, which MW is not.

And Santos was quite underrated. Probably because he fought like 'fraidy cat half the time. What I loved about the Margarito-Santos rematch was that Margarito really took it to him and brought the best out of Santos. Btw, Santos was a tough stylistic matchup for many and therefore was avoided.
