Which major title do you consider to be the number 1?

I know the fighter helps make the belt but if you had to explain to a non boxing fan watching for the first time which title you confidently believe is the most credible as the belt of the true champion what do you tell them? With all the alphabet soup titles floatng around in the boxing world in multiple weight divisions if you had to pick one organization to say "that's the champ" over the others which would it be?

It would have to be either WBC or WBA. I would choose WBC. They do some **** but they haven't gone as far as the WBA with their super champion bull****.

None. Probably the "best" is The Ring title, since typically you have to beat the #1 guy in the division to get it. Anyone can get any of those other belts and not be #1.

The trouble with the ring belt is that it's only known to boxing fans. You couldn't tell a non fan the title not advertised actually is the best. Promoters typically call only world organizations "title matches". It can be confusing.
