  • Alvarez vs Chavez Jnr - Battle of the Undefeated

The word is this fight could happen in March 2012, Saul Alvarez will be steppin up to a catchweight at 158 against JCC Jnr.
Who do you think will come out on top?
For me i reckon Canelo beats Chavez by way of Knockout.
JCC giving it the big one saying Saul's scared of him.... Is he f***
Canelo has some serious power in him, he can fight on the front foot and the back foot and i think JCC will struggle. He's nowhere near his old man's quality and i don't think Freddie Roach can change much in his boxing style and take him to Manny's and Amir's heights.
Saul bulking up to 158 will make him even better IMO.

    Huge fight for Mexicans.

    Who wins?

    Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr

at any catchweight chavez jr will lose.

JR even has trouble making 160 lbs.

at 160 lbs, it will be a close fight, but canelo's athleticism will give him the edge.

Neither guy is really great, Canelo is good Jr is average with poor D though he has shown a beard.

I am not to certain Canelo will withstand the shots from a MW who is probably walking around at 200 or so because he has been fighting mostly WWs.

More like "Battle Of The Frauds".

However, Canelo has shown me signs of serious potential.

Canelo. I remember watching Chavez fighting a journeyman a few fights ago and he made real hard work of him.

Canelo is way to skilled for Jr. . . Canelo will easily win a UD, or might even stop Chavez he is so hittable. . .

Haha in Mexico when people see him, they say: "ahhh! the fair-skinned one"!

                    True still.
It's funny that these *****'s never see this as sound criticism of their boy, instead they just come up with bull**** like Cotto never wanted the fight, Margarito didn't deserve a shot, Manny's on steroids, Tony's on steroids, etc... etc...
