Anyone who wants to see a real travesty of a HoF need look no further than the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with such memorable ROCK AND ROLL stars inducted like Donna Summers and Run DMC and Public Enemy...
Everybody knows what fame is but HOF is not literal otherwise every lineman should have their busts removed from canton and Tim Tebow should start preparing his speech for when he becomes eligible.

Why not? He won 3 fights of the year and was champ in 2 divisions. He carried the sport for many years, nobody has been on HBO more.
You need to watch some of his fights, maybe you only seen the Mayweather and De La Hoya fights, he was done when he fought Floyd (many wars).
Was he an ATG? no, but he was the man for years, Floyd took 15% to fight him. The reason he was so popular is because he won fights that he was a punch or 2 away from losing, then he won by KO, he never ducked anyone and you knew win or lose you would get your moneys worth.

Well they do put non combatants in the HOF, Micheal Buffer will be in if hes not already and has never laced a glove. Sometimes with boxing, you have to bring the inner WWE fan out of you and accept what happens. Never a fan nor hater but RIP Gatti
