Every girlfriend I've ever had used apple tablets/laptops/phones and when I asked them why it boiled down to: Other girls would give them weird looks if they took anything else out of their bag.

Mate, you ever used IOS? The **** is easy as **** to use. I got an iPad for my mum in 2013 and she still uses it till this day.

There is no delay/sluggishness that inevitably comes with Windows.

It is PISS EASY to use.

It is mega light and cheaper than laptops which would be able to have enough ram to provide similar performance out of the box

I personally would never buy one to use myself. Laptops all the way for me BUT for those who aren't very savvy and just want a cheap, convenient device...it's perfect...you don't even have to buy the latest ones. My one is the ipad air from 2013 and it holds up perfectly, no lag.
