thats hardly a dominating performance IMO. 3 points on 2 judges cards.... Don't forget Naz did hardly any training whatsoever and just chilled while Barrera was apparently training in a place with no civiliaztion! sure naz was an *******, even when he tryed to praise his opponents, but he was one of britans best boxers.
You must be his Son or relations to even talk **** like that. He was great but lost that fight hands down and he never got over it reason why he is just a fat slob

The thing you forgot is he never did beat either so legacy is tarnished a bit like Canelo now:gay:

      • To be fair to Naz, there is no shame in losing to that version of MAB anyway.

It is true Naz hands were shot and also hadn't been training properly but if he wasn't training seriously, that was his own fault, the fight starts long before they get in the ring.

I do believe Naz could have given him a better fight a couple of years earlier but it is what it is. Naz was a genuinely excellent fighter and lost a decision to another excellent fighter. That's boxing, it happens.

It's not exactly Broner being beaten by Maidana. Naz had beaten already other good world class fighters, Barrera was one of the very best of his era.

        • He looked like a piņata being slapped around. He retired after that didn't he?

Allah be praised. Islam failed! But, to his credit he gave Barrera props, promised to be back, then didn't come back. He ended his career at the right moment.

              He did fight again once.

Anyway his hands were completely shot and in a real bad state when he retired.

I stand corrected! He should have fought Barrera in a rematch??? No?
Or did his wife not want to see the piņata effect replicated!

                • He wasn't dominated, but if you look at the highlights, it would look that way because of Hamed's off balance way of avoiding punches. He'd get caught and flail all over the place. Barrera's timing was world class. Poison for a guy like Hamed.

When did you start watching boxing for you to think that it was Hamed's last fight?
