For a better picture you need to compare his numbers with other boxing events on Spike.

    3/13/2015 869,000
    4/24/2015 569,000
    5/22/2015 772,000

    11/13/2015 466,000
    4/1/2016 873,000
    4/29/2016 513,000
    7/29/2016 531,000
    8/27/2016 507,000
    9/9/2016 547,000

So his numbers are ok for PBC on Spike, but they are by no means good.

So he did slightly lower than DSG who was also fighting at CAN but that undercard was much better.

Anthony Dirrell vs Badou Jack was actually the main event for that ESPN card with Jacobs vs Truax. Lara Vs Martirosyan II did 491k, not 389k.

You can't compare subscription-based networks to basic cable. Not everyone has Showtime, but most tv viewers have Spike.

The key here is Pay Per View! How many viewers do you think would watch Lara fight the rabbi if they had to pay for it?
