Going there in June, just wondering if anyone on here can recommend where the best places are to go? I'm mainly talking cheap beer/food and any decent casinos if anyone can give any recommendations...

The general consensus so far seems to be that everything is pretty cheap and not to get in taxi's as you'll get ripped off big time.

no need for taxis, just walk it and try not to get lost. Do a 'pub crawl' and you'll be set. Remember to go see the astronomical clock and enjoy a good number of absinthe shots. As to where to stay, if you're going by yourself the hostels near the city center will do. Cool city man, have fun oh and try to avoid the strip clubs, they will rip you off since you're a young american kid doing tourism, so they will think you are rich

When in June are you going?

Im actually heading there May 25-June 5th. I've never been before but i also hear its great. I'm also training it to Berlin and Vienna for a day too.

Now that you mention absinthe, someone told me that they serve you absinthe with your food in McDonalds there?

I'm going with about 9 others, the hostel is already booked in the town centre and I'm English not American, so maybe I should give the strip clubs a shot

I went like when I was 10 that was 11 years ago. There is a nice pizza place next to that famous clock if it is still there ha.
