Thanks for the replies!
When I tried using big gloves (16oz) in the heavy bag I felt my hands/shoulders getting heavy and slow really fast which i thought would end up giving me bad technique, i guess I just should've stuck with it a bit longer...
I'm really picky as far as buying gloves goes. I recently spent almost one hour trying all the gloves that the local shop had (Winning, Cleto reyes, Windy, Lonsdale etc). The Cleto reyes had the best feel in my opinion but the shop only had 8oz and 14oz, (I was actually looking for 10 or 12oz) but after reading various replies I might just buy the 14oz.
For sparring I use the gear provided by the gym, so I really wanna buy the best bag/training gloves as I'm told am a hard puncher, so I want the best protection for my hands/wrists.
I've read some raving reviews regarding Ringside's IMF gloves, has anyone here got them? Are they that good?
