I was surprised at the results. I don't think I have ever seen Calzaghe lose a hypothetical matchup here

It's interesting because, in most threads you will see 5 negative things about the guy for every 1 positive thing said. But, in the polls, people tend to be honest about him. It's easy to bash him for the lighter punches late in his career, when his hands were gone, but the man did have the "instinct" of being able to read an opponent's body language. It gave the ability to know when to move and how to throw a guy off. His workrate and cardio still amaze me to this day as well. I can't say enough about that. For all the traits one can have in boxing, the 2 most important are outworking and outlasting your opponent.
