Mayweather is close. That is his best division and definitely where he did his best work and had his toughest fights, but he is still not the best ever there. Reasonably close but there are fighters who did more there.

Chavez and Arguello were both better than Floyd at 130lbs.

lol, because mayweather always loses to guys who come right at him throwing bombs with little head movement and a shakey defense. Thats when mayweather is at his best, when you try to be aggressive.

Arguello yes, but chavez, no. Not at 130. Mayweather would be a nightmare for chavez, it would be just like whitaker, chavez didint like movement.

pull his **** out ya mouth man, he did good at 130 we get it already.. if you want to explain a fact about him to me explain why after fighting de la hoya, ONLY for money by the way, he goes and defends his Welterweight title against the JUNIOR Welterweight champion instead of facing someone ranked number 1 at Welterweight? explain that one genius because it sure wasn't for that legacy of his you sitting here trying to beat into peoples heads.. i hear he is possibly coming back, hopefully he wont take another "risk" fighting someone far less skilled than himself again.. Mosley talked MAD **** about him but suddenly when Ricky Hatton, a far lesser challenge than Mosley would have been and even he knows it, he says 1 thing bad about him then suddenly it's "i couldn't let that go" and fights him meanwhile Shane BEEN dissed him worse and he didn't fight him.. i'm just saying **** sitting here telling us what we already knew about Floyd at 130 dogz answer me that, cuz i think of one..

nah it just urks me cuz he isn't neutral on **** regarding Floyd, i noticed that about this guy. i call **** fair on Floyd and everyone alike.. you can just read what he wrote and know 100% for sure he just sweatin Floyd again cuz if this was truly a "history" thread as you say he would ask the board "who was the best at 130" and not just blurt out Mayweathers name as the best there. i feel you though i may have come out harsh but all this dude talks about is Floyd and in a non-neutral way.
