I definitely think Martinez should get it because he will fight
ANYONE. Paul Williams, Kelly Pavlik, now Paul Williams again?
That dude got heart. I don't think Manny Pacquiao should get
it, just for being popular. I think Sergio Martinez is the only
fighter that would step in the ring with WHOEVER, no questions
asked. To me, that's a real fighter. The fight with Paul Williams
was more challenging and equally competitive more than Pac's
last 4/5 fights. IF Martinez wins the fight this weekend, he
should get it for sure. Because on top of that, Williams and
Pavlik is considered top fighters in the rankings.

Out of everyone in the sport of boxing I would have
to say that Sergio Martinez is my favorite fighter. He
fights and doesn't beef about the incorrect things that
happened to him, instead he just pushed forward and
made a bigger name for himself by fighting and not making
excuses. I keep saying this but that is what a real fighter
/boxer is supposed to do to get to the top and that's what
he did/doing. I hold Sergio in higher regards than Floyd
and Manny. This weekend I have a feeling Segio is going
to serve Paul Williams. The first fight, both had limited time
to train for each other but Sergio was whupping on Paul
busting him up. Paul Williams is always a live dog but
Sergio to me is just better than Williams. Been looking
forward to the rematch for a while now.

The winner of the Williams vs Martinez fight should definitely face Manny Pacquiao! there's no more competition at the lower weights for Pacquiao! or do you guys want to see him take on an old Marquez who obviously can't beat Pacquiao anymore!? Mosley is also too old and wouldn't really draw that much attention to the fight! that goes for Bradley, Berto and so on! I think its either Paul Williams at 147lbs if he wins or Sergio Martinez at a catchweight just below middleweight lol for the Middleweight championship if he wins! I mean lets face it Mayweather is afraid! he's never going to fight Pacquiao unless Pacquiao agrees to Olympic style drug testing, 14 oz gloves, a headgear and the biggest ring you can find lol

asking Bob Arum if he would want Manny to fight Paul
Williams and Bob didn't like the idea AND when they asked
Manny if he wanted to fight Paul Williams, Manny straight

are you accusing manny of not fighting the best? are you insane? manny won 4 lineal championships...now if you dont know that...that's beating the man who beat the man who beat the man, meaning he fought the best in that weight division...your assumptions that pac did not face the best is baseless because manny has the record of beating the top man in a specific division...again 4 lineal championships

they dont award foty besue of that,..if that was the case floyd would've never won it....they award it based on what youve accompished......i agree sergio desrevs it if he wins this saturday!.......if not, montiel , pac got a strong case too like it or not!

Don't matter if I like it or not because no matter what, I will just
accept whoever wins but to me, Sergio Martinez has been fighting
and winning over capable guys. While Pac has had some impressive
wins, performance wise. His competition has not been as praised
as himself. It's cool to win your 8th title, but Sergio has been in the
tougher battles and has been impressive even when giving wrong
decisions. Manny fights are already set up and everyone knows
he is going to win. I picked against him because I hoped that
it would be competitive but Pac is far more superior than the guys
that have been put in front of him. Pac popularity wise trumps
Martinez but ol' school fighter wise. Sergio should get his just due.
Wouldn't pick Montiel against them too.
