I could be wrong but are John Henry Lewis,Jack Sharkey and Jim Braddock not three of the eight hall of famers you speak?

The fight also took place in Madison Square Garden in New York City,And guess where Doug Jones is from? Guess which city and venue he had fought half his fights at up until that point?

Jones landed nothing but thin air for the vast majority of the fight and the crowd went wild with every clear miss he threw, other than hurting clay in the first round he never won another round clearly

If you actually watch the whole fight at one point the commentator compliments Jones on having "great facial defense" so what does that tell you?

You also claimed it was a robbery yet now claim it was extremely close(which it wasn't) which contradicts your claim of a robbery

You're copying and pasting this crap aren't you?

The only laughable claim bert sugar actually made in regards to correcting Jerry Izenberg is that the Clay-Jones fight was close

The fight could of been in any venue, city or arena. And it still would of been a extremely close fight.

Jones landed nothing but thin air for the vast majority of the fight and the crowd went wild with every clear miss he threw, other than hurting clay in the first round he never won another round clearly
Are you sure you watched this entire fight? The fact is that Doug hurt Cassius early and often. It didn’t take Clay long to realize that he was in the fight of his life. By the middle rounds Cassius was able to get his jab working. Only then did he climb back into the fight.

If you actually watch the whole fight at one point the commentator compliments Jones on having "great facial defense" so what does that tell you?
Jones in his prime had a pretty solid chin, not great but solid. Clay hit him with some shapr shots, which he stood up from.

You also claimed it was a robbery yet now claim it was extremely close(which it wasn't) which contradicts your claim of a robbery
The reason I claimed was robbery, was more a sarcasim post to get my point across.

Because people just seem to say Ali would of beat Louis, due to soley watching the 1st Conn fight. My point was Ali, also struggled with lesser fights than Conn, and some people actually do think Jones got robbed, not me but some.

You're copying and pasting this crap aren't you?
No, and why would I need to, your a idiot, who just talks bogus and come's on here because or your other alts have been banned.

The reason everyone says it was a close fight, is because it's true. Clay Jones was a close fight, two of the three scorecards prove it 5-4-1, 5-4-1 to Clay prove this, as well as fans, historians, etc to saying it was a close fight.

Your making out like Clay dominated from start to finish winning every round. Are you sure your not mistaking the Jones fight with the Muhammad Ali vs. Ernie Terrell? It wouldn't surprise me, with your lack of knowlodge

Well actually I have helped write some articles over the years and help some writers with there boxing articles. But I will leave it at that. And I actually didn't copy and paste it, as I had written them lines years before this writer has written them.

So you're the fool..........not me. The fact of the matter is, that you claim Clay beat Doug Jones easily, which is complete bogus, Jones and Clay was a close fight, and will always be remembered as such.

You are a liar who has been caught with his pants down and now you instead of trying to save some dignity by admitting your guilt you come up with the lamest excuse possible. You wrote the exact same lines years before Jim Amato had written them? His article from october 2004?

                  You're a scam and a fraud

                  Here you go everybody

On march 13th, 1963,Doug took on the unbeaten and highly touted Olympic Gold Medalist Cassius Clay in a soldout, jammed packed Madison Square Garden. It was the nightthat the roof almost caved in on young cassius. Maybe he underestimated Doug. Who knows? The fact is that Doug hurt Cassius early and often. It didn't take Clay long to realise that he was in the fight of his life! By the middle rounds, Cassius was able to to get his jab working. Only then did he climb back into the fight. The officials thought Clay did enough to win.The fans did not. Clay was booed without mercy and Jones who was short ended recieved the cheers of a winner

No am not a liar, I have helped many writers, historians and others with research, articles, fight footage etc. But I don't like to go around here boasting actually, and I was writing virtually the same lines about the Clay/Jones fight, 15 years ago.
