According to the Belfast telegraph, Brian Magee has secured the kings hall in belfast for his WBA SMW title fight against Dimitri Sartison.

ok, so Ward is the real WBA SMW champion, but it still counts! its been years since we had a world title fight in northern ireland. Its not confirmed yet though.

Brian Magee's dream World title shot with WBA champion Dimitri Sartison is on and it's heading to the King's Hall.

Magee's manager Pat Magee has booked out the iconic boxing venue for January 29 and February 5, with a firm date to be sealed this week once negotiations with the champion's promoter are concluded.

Magee has been in ongoing discussions has had talks with Dietmar Poszwa of German company Universum, one of the biggest promotional operations in Europe, and is now confident that a deal will be struck before the fight is ordered to go to purse offers by the World Boxing Association.
