They help you lose water weight. However, there are no illegal substances that can be considered diuretics, in Hydroxycut.

Caffeine is a diuretic, however in 1 serving of hydroxycut there is only about 150mg of caffeine.

In Hydroxycut Hardcore, I believe there is 300mg/serving.

There are probably limits as to how much caffeine an athlete can consume, but I highly doubt that 150mg is that limit
