it's ok that he didn't know his family doctor's name. but neurological problems is a pretty serious injury. he better retire for his sake and the sake of his family.

There is no Dr. Shaw High (or any variation of that name) in the Michigan medical certification database.

Unless they went to Illinois or something, and I'm not about to check every state.

i think what happened here, is that Dirrell realizes he would probably lose to Ward and since they're friends, they talked and Dirrel was probably like "Look, the super six is falling apart. We don't really have to fight eachother anymore. I'll go ahead and pull out and let you have it since it's your time and then I'll have my time in the spotlight next."
