Yes but I would recommend The Ageless Warrior if you want a book on him.
As a rule of thumb I think you are best with biographys on boxers than autobiographys to be honest

Either Mitch Green or Greg Page, so I could find out WTF went wrong.

I guess 'helping' Joe might be a bit of a strong term for Langford's possible meetings with Joe post Schmelling 1. I doubt that he was employed in a professional capacity, but I dont doubt that wise words from an old experienced character like Langford may well have dragged Louis 'out of the dumps' as it were following that defeat. Perhaps he was brought in, in an emotional capacity.

Someone will know the true answer to this one. It seems a bit poor for the biopic to focus on events which were a complete fallacy.....and could have been questioned, but you never know?!

“Sam Langford, one of the greatest ringmen ever to pull on a glove paid Joe Louis the finest tribute when he said, “The Detroit Bomber is another Gans, whom I consider the greatest fighter of all time… He (Louis) can hit, he is fast and is no slouch at employing ring craft. I am glad I am still able to see enough to watch the boy. He is the marvel of the age.” Chicago Tribune, 1935.Atleast till 35 or a year later I can surely say Sam could have met Joe.

Jake Lamotta. He fought in one of the greatest eras ever and fought he greatest sugar Ray Leonard. Plus he was a natural entertainer He would be fun to drink with.

Jack Johnson hands down! This ****er lived the life of ten men . All I can say is read books on him , there's no boxer past or present that was as eccentric , colorful and crazier than Lil Arthur ! From a spy , bullfighter , casino owner(brothel), spoke several languages , hunted by Mexican government, ****en The Mata Hari , getting plastered W/ Rasputin ,can jump backwards ten feet ! Oh ya Heavyweight Champ of the World ! This guy was nuts and a full on badass. No pug can touch this Dude ,no one,****!!!!

Sonny Liston - To find out if the Ali fight was fixed by the mob.....or whether the punch truly just put his lights out.
