This is BS the organizations are trying to force him to give up his belts. Klitschko has been ready to fight Povetkin since day one why has'nt the organization forced this before. They waited for the right moment so that Wlad would rather fight Haye over Povetkin allowing Povetkin to get the belt without fighting Klitschko. This is very greasy and just plain and simple wrong. They are doing whatever they can to prevent a unified champ. I hope everyone forgive Wlad if he just fight Povetkin first so he does'nt have to get rid of the belt. It's not fair Povetkin has dodged a title shot for almost 3 years. Now they want the belt to be handed to him. Is this how the sport works? Really? Obviously I was duped and I signed up to be a fan of the wrong sport.

To do this would ruin the Klitschko dream-which is a serious one- of holding all four titles in the one family, and also Haye wouldn't be able to "casually" bring into conversation the matter of "me world title"...........
If Klitschko fights Povetkin, which is not certain, since he can request a postponement in order to fight a unifier, not to mention that Atlas and Povetkin are not eager for this fight,
then, Haye should honour his return clause with Valuev.
Valuev, if he punches a little more, could easily win the return, which would effectively wave "bye-bye" to Haye.

Atlas was always claiming he could train someone like Povetkin to
easily beat a Klitschko, but all of a sudden he doesn't seem so confident.

Secondly, even if they are given reasonable notice, under their rules, they still have to approve the request (in other words, their approval is discretionary, and is not a right); and while they usually do approve unification requests where the notice is reasonable, they have every right not to do so in this case, because, as the article says, Wlad hasn't had a mandatory defence of his IBF title since 2007 - and at the time of the Chambers fight he made a formal commitment to the IBF that he would fight their mandatory next.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-13-2010, 08:48 PM.

Wladimir could fit both Povetkin and Haye in this year, but we all know what fight of those two we want to see
