Default Can I work the same muscle groups 2 days in a row?

Like, I have some spare time later tonight and I could go for an upper body workout. Thing is, I did one yesterday too, but i feel like i have a lot of energy, my legs hurt however because i ran 10 miles yesterday, so i dont want to do legs, ill just do a short ardio on the bike or something.

So yeah, can i lift again today or should i avoid it?

it's generally not a good idea to workout the same muscle group 2 days in a row. Maybe just a little cardio and call it a done deal.

what he said not the best idea u will start tearing down more muscle by doing that less ur body recovers at a super unnatural rate..wich hey guess it could only u know your body..but as a general rule you should not train the same body part two days in a row..however doin it sparringly aint gon really hurt you..just dont get in the habit of doing it
